Pamela Hamilton’s career has encompassed the fields of broadcast journalism, filmmaking, publishing, and public relations. She has interviewed notable figures in business, entertainment, U.S. intelligence and the arts and has covered some of the most significant events of the 21st century. For more than a decade, Hamilton was a producer for NBC News, and she was a producer on the award-winning documentary Grateful Dawg. Based in Manhattan, she serves on the board of the Society of Professional Journalists’ Deadline Club. Hamilton’s debut novel, Lady Be Good, received the coveted Kirkus Star and was selected as a Kirkus Best Book of the Year, as well as a Publishers Weekly Booklife Editor’s Pick. Additionally, she has been honored with several book awards, including the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award Gold Medal and the National Indie Excellence Award.
