Welcome to a big, brand new Long Island literary event!

Join us for three days of books, authors, workshops, vendors, and more at the first annual Gold Coast Book Fair, a community-wide celebration of literature and Long Island in Oyster Bay. The Fair is free to attend and open to the public

With programming for children and adults, the weekend will include keynotes, panel discussions, solo author readings, and workshops, along with two vibrant vendor marketplaces, a book fair presented by Theodore’s Books, special author dinners and luncheons, and more. The weekend’s programming will cover many genres, engaging readers from across Long Island. The Gold Coast Book Fair is free to attend. Select events will be ticketed.

The weekend will kick-off with a very special keynote with bestselling author and historian Erik Larson, speaking his new book, The Demon of Unrest. Tickets are on sale now and include a signed copy of the book. 

The Gold Coast Book Fair will take place on the campus of Long Island University in Brookville on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. Join us the Fair as it convenes in downtown Oyster Bay on Sunday, June 30 for an outdoor marketplace, children’s programming, special luncheons with authors, and a swinging Gatsby-themed happy hour.
