Kevin Baker is a novelist, historian, journalist, screenwriter, and playwright. The New York Game is the twelfth published book he has authored or co-authored. He was born in New Jersey, grew up in Rockport, Massachusetts, and has lived his entire adult life in Manhattan, where he resides with his wife, the playwright, Ellen Abrams, and their cat, Natasha.
