Zainab Khan is a local, BIPOC author. As a Muslim woman of Pakistani heritage who has lived in different parts of the world, she writes diverse stories that promote empathy, kindness, and unity between children of all faiths and cultures. She is represented by Stephanie Fretwell-Hill at Red Fox Literary. Zainab’s debut picture book, NOURA’S CRESCENT MOON, was released by Candlewick on April 16, 2024. Part of her proceeds will be donated to Givelight.org. This charity cares for and educates orphans all over the globe to help them become productive members of society.
